The guide took us to several shops that local Kyoto residents actually frequent. We were taken to shops we would never have found on our own, and we even got to talk with local people, which created a wonderful memory.
This was a delightful tour. Our guide Masa led us through the alleys of Kyoto to little hidden gems we would never have found on our own. The food was excellent and included drinks such as local beer and sake. Highly recommend!
SO refreshing to be taken off the too-well-beaten tourist trail and visit some authentic local places with local prices in Kyoto. Amy was an amazing host and gave me lots of tips about Japan. This tour was incredibly good value. I recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the crowds.
